The Get Crazy Maxi Dress - the story behind the Photoshooting

It was because of the similarity between the two that I chose to do the photoshoot for the Get Crazy Maxi Dress in Heidelberg. This city, which ranks among my favorites and those of tourists visiting Germany, is, just like the dress, a fascinating paradox: an old city with well-preserved architecture, yet at the same time, young and vibrant. Perhaps it's due to the presence of one of the country's largest universities or the expanse of its bustling shopping street, the longest in Germany.

This contrast is reflected in the local lifestyle. Here, you’ll find businesses with an innovative touch, ultra-modern storefronts, delicious food, and reinvented traditional cafés like Schafheutle, which hides an idyllic garden in the back. It’s the perfect place for an afternoon of great conversation with friends—and the perfect setting to start showcasing the versatility of Get Crazy, a delightfully bold highlight of our third collection.

The Paradox of the Get Crazy Maxi Dress

The steep climb to the castle on foot becomes especially enjoyable in the late afternoon when the sun illuminates the ruins and the breathtaking city view with a timeless charm. On the vast lawn at the top, I fully immersed myself in the photoshoot, playing with all the styling possibilities of the Get Crazy dress.

Its vibrant colors and playful floral print create a striking contrast against the dress’s straight, modest cut, balancing discretion with the boldness of being free and happy.

A maxi dress with a high boat neckline, made of lightweight fabric—perfect for the spring breeze—adding a touch of softness to the look.

That’s How Get Crazy Drives Me Crazy!

The matching belt, made from the same fabric and print as the dress, is a versatile detail. You can use it to define the waist, subtly adjust only the back, or—my personal favorite—transform it into a headband. A styling trick that, according to my husband, made me look 20 years younger!

With the temperature still unpredictable, I love layering. But I also enjoy experimenting with an even bolder variation: reversing the dress so the back becomes the front, folding and securing the original closure with double-sided tape, creating an unexpected neckline that further highlights the versatility of this stunning dress.

To finish the look, you can choose between two complementary tones for your bag and shoes, creating an authentic and personality-filled ensemble.

Accessories—yes or no? The dress welcomes everything! That’s why Get Crazy brings me so much excitement and joy. It encourages thinking outside the box, daring to mix and match all the colorful pieces in my wardrobe—layering over or under—while still looking effortlessly chic.

Can I share a little secret? Walking through the streets of Heidelberg, I received two completely spontaneous compliments—one from a woman, one from a man. Both were about the dress. So, it's official: this is a head-turning dress!

This spring, we get to go wild—and look absolutely stunning doing it.
